Letter from the Director:
Someone recently asked me of my work... "What motivates you?" The answer came instantly... "connection".
Our world turns on the understanding of this basic human desire - the need to feel and be connected, linked, involved in relations and communications. I am no exception and that is why the internet is something that fascinates me. The internet is indeed a World Wide Web and we are just at the beginning of witnessing the intricacies of this communication platform.
Coming from a traditional marketing background, the internet was the most exciting band wagon I had seen drive past. I jumped on board and have not looked back. From a marketing perspective, SEM is undoubtedly the most direct, accountable, ROI driven form of advertising. Why? It works on the basic premise of relevant connections. People to people. People to products. People to services. Only consumers who are looking for your product or service will click on your add. It is a direct link between your website and relevant consumers.
There is nothing more valuable for a business than successful connections with customers. I am personally committed to ensuring that my clients experience the positive results of a targeted and successful SEM campaign. If I can achieve this with an approach that is personable, transparent and thorough, then I know I have achieved what I set out to do when establishing WordUp.
